I have a question, and apologies if this has already been answered elsewhere: so what we see in the game is a 3D "slice" of a 4D world, right? So, do the models in this game have some kind of unsliced, "platonic form" that the slices we see are "cut" from? Like, if someone were to crack open the game's folders and files and look at, for example, a tree, would we find a 3D model of a "hyper-tree" with loads of different shapes and angles mashed together? Or does the game do some kind of calculation as you rotate and changes the apparent shape of these models according to the calculation?

Umm. Hear me out: this game is 2D even without the glasses because you turned a 2D top-down game into first-person view. There is no vertical axis but there is a Z-depth now which the top-down version didn't have(you traded Y axis with Z). You ended up having to add "fog" because there is no other way to render that z-depth, which is a clue on why this game can't be 1D. Unless you find a game mechanic that involves a point, or points moving along a line, without depth, it is not a 1D game.

I would LOVE if this game had a native Linux build. Proton is cool but a native Linux build would be amazing. Would even convince me to become a patreon supporter...
